Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the workouts take me?

No workout will take you longer than 30 minutes.  MAX Workouts is based on shorter, higher intesity strength & cardio training.  I also incorporate full-body (functional) exercises, interval training, and circuit training.  Training this way gets you super lean and defined without having to spend hours in the gym each week.  Better yet, your body will recover faster so that you can workout the next day without being too sore or tired.  I reccommend you workout 4-6 days per week.

Is MAX Workouts for beginners, intermediates, or athletes?

MAX Workouts is designed to be completely scalable for whatever level you’re currently at, however, it is not for people who have never exercised before.  There’s 90 days worth of workouts scheduled out for you in the book.  I tell you exactly what to do and on what day of the week.  Even if you’re a veteran exerciser, I recommend you start the program from the very beginning.  The workouts get progressively harder as the weeks go by, so you’ll want to have a good grasp of all the exercises as you move through the program.

Is MAX Workouts for men or women?

Contrary to popular belief, I believe men and women should be doing the same type of workouts.  MAX Workouts is based on athletic training that benefits men and women differently.  Why is that?  Because a man’s body chemistry is different from a woman’s.  It’s really as simple as that.  While both will burn an insane amount of fat, men will build more muscle and get more cut.  Women will really lean out and get toned.  Many women are afraid that if they lift weights they’re going to bulk up.  I can tell you from years of training all my clients with MAX Workouts - nothing could be further from the truth.  When women start lifting a little heavier and performing full body workouts, the result is toned muscles that look sexy - not bulky!

What equipment do I need to do MAX Workouts?

You can do MAX WORKOUTS at the gym or at home. Keeping crowded gyms in mind, the workouts can be done in a small space with a barbell or dumbbells, your own body weight, and a pull-up bar. If you workout at home and don’t have a barbell, you can reference all the dumbbell variations of the barbell exercises that I’ve included in the book for you. Either way, I’ve got you covered.
For the interval cardio portion of the program, you can run outside or use a treadmill, indoor bike, rower, or any cardio machine of your choice.

Will I need to take supplements while I’m on the program?

No way!  I’m not a fan of supplements (unless you’re talking about fish oils or vitamins) and I will never create a program that requires anything unnatural.  You can (and should) acheive your fitness goals naturally and safely.  Health and wellness simply doesn’t come in a bottle.  So if you’re looking for a “quick fix” without any effort, MAX Workouts probably isn’t for you.  I created MAX Workouts for people who enjoy working out and want to take their fitness and fat-loss to the next level while saving time and working out smarter.
